The Gold Blaze award uses metallic gold art glass that is fused and slumped into this multidimensional flame. During the slumping process, R.S.Owens artisans lift the kiln lid to form the folds of the flame as it melts over the form. Each piece is made by hand and no two are alike. This painstaking process results in a flame with curves that flicker with light. The sculpture is mounted to an optical clear crystal base. 2.5" W x 10.5" H x 2.5" D
